Bloom is a unique bed & breakfast situated in the heart of Venice, in the extremely central San Marco district. Characterized by a charming combination of 18th century Venetian opulence and sophisticated contemporary design, Bloom occupies part of the city's old Scuola dei Lanieri (School of Woolmakers), a 15th century edifice which, in the early 1800's, was converted in elegant residences for members of the local aristocracy.
An exclusive B&B in which to experience both the luxury of times past and the latest in modern comforts and technology, Bloom provides guest accommodation in beautifully lit rooms embellished with lavish silk drapes, ornate damask wall coverings, plush velvet upholstery, antique majolica fireplaces, and exquisite, hand painted furnishings.
The lounge located on the top floor of the hotel functions both as reading room and open bar and leads out on to a terrace, from where a magnificent view of the Church of Santo Stefano, St Mark's Cathedral and the whole of central Venice can be seen.
