Villa Giona San Pietro in Cariano

Villa Giona, situated just minutes away from the center of Verona and Lake Garda, is one of the most impressive historical mansions of Italy's Valpolicella area.

The villa was built in the early 16th century, as testified by a marble stone situated in the grounds in which the date "1504" was carved. On the elegant façade of the hotel one finds the heraldic stem belonging to the family of the first owner of the property, after whom Villa Giona was named. One of the most important alterations to the building was made at the turn of the 16th century with the addition of the villa's magnificent loggia.

Guests sojourning at the Villa Giona have the opportunity to stroll through ornately decorated and frescoed public rooms and visit the mansion's unique and extremely valuable library.

Six rooms and three apartments have been reserved for guests, all exquisitely furnished and offering the utmost in comfort. A beautifully presented breakfast is served in the "loggia". Whilst in the medieval tower, guests are offered the opportunity to taste the highly acclaimed Allegrini wines and savor the much prized products of the Valpolicella area.
