Regional Nature Reserve, a land of legends.
A Nature Reserve (parco dei Colli Euganei) since 1989, the territory is made up of 15 districts and thehighest hills of the Padana Plains. All the historical remains which have been found here can seen in the National Atestino di Este Museum.
A number of legends are linked to the area of the Colli Euganei, legends such as that of the Beata Beatrice, the Siren of Lake Lispida, and Lake Arquà. Among the local products special mention should be given to the D.O.C. wines Moscato, Fior d'arancio, Novello, Pinello and Tocai.
